On behalf of the faculty and students of the University of Strathclyde's Department of Architecture, we extend a warm welcome to the 2023/24 showcase of work produced by the department. The degree show serves as a testament to the hard work and dedication of our students, culminating in a physical demonstration of their vision and skills. We are exceedingly proud to offer this opportunity for our students to showcase their achievements to their peers, family, friends, and potential employers.

We acknowledge that the degree show marks both an end and a beginning. It signifies the conclusion of a year of rigorous study for some, and for others, the completion of a degree. However, it also marks the start of a new chapter in their lives, whether that be in their careers or personal endeavors.

We are grateful to our students for their commitment and for being a joy to teach. We would also like to express our appreciation to the staff who have demonstrated professionalism, adaptability, and unwavering dedication to our students.

With great pride, we present to you the Class of 2024.

THE ARCHITECTURE DEPARTMENT

Welcome to the newly launched Architecture Student Showcase website, where we aim to provide an information stream for all those affiliated with STRATHARCH. Our goal is to feature examples of student work, upcoming events, and departmental news, and we are excited to expand our digital communication initiatives through this platform.

To enhance our social media presence, we will be releasing a bi-monthly newsletter where students can share their updates, and we encourage all to submit their content via our website, notice boards, and other digital media platforms. As we continue to grow this website throughout the academic year, we ask for your support in submitting your work. Please visit our submissions page for more information on how to share your content with us.

We encourage you to tag your architecture posts with STRATHARCH pages to receive more exposure, and we urge you to make use of the showcase site to exhibit your work. In addition, we will use Flickr to generate albums where you can view and share your work. Stay informed on all things STRATHARCH by following our site and social media pages. If you have any ideas or suggestions for the showcase site, please feel free to contact us via email.

Best Regards

Our residential visit to Wiston Lodge was an absolute hit! We couldn't have pulled it off without the incredible teamwork of our hard-working students during the live build. A huge round of applause to the amazing Wiston Lodge staff who were our guiding stars throughout our adventure.
